The Ah-Ha Moment

CASC is a big contributor of my Ah-Ha moments. Actually, until yesterday, I thought it was the only contributor. My Little Misses and I are currently reading a book titled "Never Trust a Man in Alligator Loafers: What His Shoes Really Say About His True Love Potential". This book is not only a fun read, but it's also accurate in most senses.

My first Ah-Ha moment with this book was when I was reading through a section and it so happened to be describing, word-for-word, the trait of the person I was dating at the time. I was literally taken aback.

My second Ah-Ha moment was when the author wrote about the condition of a guy's shoes reflects the condition he may treat you in a relationship. Looking back on my previous relationship, I remember being very uncomfortable with some of this pairs of shoes because they had holes in them, were extremely worn out, and literally falling apart. This accurately reflected how I felt I was being treated in the relationship. I was always left with holes on the inside, I was worn out from taking care of him, and I was emotionally falling apart!

My third Ah-Ha moment was after reading a quote. It stated, "When a woman begins to make conscious choices about the quality of shoes she allows to walk into her life, that's when History becomes Herstory." I'll leave this free for interpretation.

In any case, this book has given me plenty of Ah-Ha moments and I am looking forward to discovering many more. After I'm finished with this book, I'll move on to "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle and start engulfing myself with Ah-Ha moments there.
