Curly Hair Sock Bun

I tried this last night:
How to Get Curly Hair with a Sock

but my hair was too wet so when I brushed it, the curls came undone.

I'm about to take a nap so I'm trying it again. I'm finding it extremely difficult to wrap the hairs around especially because I have Asian hair. But I'm not giving up on it yet!
